The 2022 Rudy’s Cup will start back up this year after not being held over the past 2 years. San Antonio will host the event at Tapatio Springs on Nov 12-13. Here is the line up that Austin will take to Tapatio:

Grady Bruce shot two solid rounds of 68-69 for a 137 total, finishing 7-under, and wins the Austin Senior Championship by two shots over Chris Hartenstein who shot 70-69 to finish 5-under. Bruce made only one bogey the entire weekend, along with an eagle on the 2nd hole of the final round to go along with 2 birdies and one bogey. Hartenstein also with only one bogey for the tournament. Impressive play all around.
Jerry Achilles finished solo 3rd place with a 3-under finish, followed by a tie for 4th place between Chris Shive, Mike Harwood and Dan Weisser, all at 2-under par.
In the Senior Women’s division, Tracey Calloway defeated Liz Radvansky to claim the victory. In the Men’s Super Senior division, Kevin Dahl finished at 2-under par, shooting 72-70. Alan Bell was the runner up finishing at 1-over par, followed by a third place finish by Jim Grubbs, who finished 2-over par.
The 2022 Austin Men’s and Women’s Sr. City Championship gets underway this weekend at Morris Williams Golf Course. The first tee time is at 7:45a, with the last tee time at 1:09p. Gene Black is the defending champion, dating back to 2019, the last time the event was staged.
