Greg Smith shot a final round 69 to finish at -4 for the two days and win his first Austin Senior City Championship. Keith Lundquist, Chris Hartenstein and Chris Lyles finishied 1 shot back at -3 under.
Hal Johnson shot -4 for two days in the Super Senior division to beat Kevin Dahl at -2. Jim Bechtol finished 3rd at even par and Dennis Sokol shot +1 to finish in fourth.
The Austin City Senior will be held at Morris Williams on Sept 13-14. The entry fee is $150 and you can register at the link below
Jack Cersosimo won on the 3rd playoff hole over Eston Duff. Jack and Eston had both tied at -11 after 54 holes. Eston shot a final round 64 at Kizer to get to -11. Ben Winter finished 3rd at -8…..Jack Watters, Robby Ormond and Brian Noonan tied for 4th at -6.
Congratulations to Kaden Frierson on finishhing as low Junior. Dylan Evertt finished as Low Senior and Jack Cersosimo also won Low Mid-Am.
On the Womens side Kate Pickrell shot -5 to in the Womens City Championship which will now be named the Beth Cleckler Cup going forward.
Registration for the City Championship is now open. The tournament will be held on August 1-3rd and will be played at Morris Williams – Jimmy Clay and Roy Kizer golf courses
