Signup for the 2019 Lions Spring partnership is tomorrow, Friday, March 28th. If you are not familiar with the signup process for this event, you will have to “ask the locals”, but in general: plan to wake up early with a pocket full of cash and an extra large cup of coffee.
The dates for the event are April 27-28, 2019. Check the 2019 schedule for additional information.
In other Lions Municipal news, I saw this video posted by the USGA this week, and thought it should be shared here:
The Spring Mid-Am Championship will be held at Morris Williams on April 6-7th. The entry fee is $165 and the field size is limited to 120 players. Click the below link for additional tournament details and registration
The 2019 Austin Mid-Amateur Match Play event has moved to the first weekend in October, the 4th – 6th at Grey Rock Golf Club.
The 2019 schedule is getting ironed out, with specific dates added to most of the events, and only a few TBDs remaining. The three biggest changes that have happened: 1) The SA Regional has been removed from the schedule; 2) The Bluebonnet Cup has been moved to August and 3) the Central Texas Amateur has been moved to May.
The 2019 schedule has been posted. You will notice a few TBDs and empty dates right now, but we will update those as they get finalized. Thanks to everyone who participated in our events in 2018, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2019.
