Austin Amateur Golf

The team of Austin Cotton and Michael Cooper got it done in the final round of the 2018 Lions Spring Partnership, firing a second-round 64 to best first round leaders Steven Bright and Casey Haverstick by one stroke.  Cooper/Cotton finished the tournament at 16-under par.

It was a two team race standing on the 16th tee box, and a birdie by Cooper/Cotton was enough, as both teams made par on both 17 and 18.

Barrett Sandefur and David Backus tied the low final round score of 64 with Cooper and Cotton to climb up to T-3 at 11-under par, along with John Perez and Evan Vo.  There was a 3-way tie for fifth place at 10-under total for the teams of Grindle/Grindle, Alden/Luongo and McGee/Moreland.
