Congratulations to Jay Reynolds for firing a final round 68, for a six under total score of 136 and a one shot victory over Steve Paterson who finished at five under par 137.

Defending Champion Barrett Sandefur finished at three under par after shooting a final round 71, two strokes ahead of Matt Riley, Sam Wallach and Robert Evans who all finished at one under par 141.

Final tournament scores and standings along with Rudy’s I-35 Cup standings have been posted.

Even with gusty wind conditions, eight golfers broke par in the first round of the 2017 Spring Mid-Amateur Championship at Roy Kizer today.  Defending champion Barrett Sandefur and four other golfers sit at the top, currently at 3 under par while three others are currently 1 under.  See complete first round scores on the 2017 Tournament Results page.

Weather should be a factor again in the second round with thunderstorms predicted for most of the day.  Second round tee times will begin early off both #1 and #10 in an effort to get a complete 36 hole event.
