Austin takes an 8-6 lead heading into Sunday’s Singles matches and need 6 1/2 more points to win back the Rudy’s Cup. Austin’s first two pairings of both the Fourball and Foursomes matches (Hartenstein/Sandefur & Jay/Peach Reynolds) went 4-0 to set the early momentum.
In yesterday’s Foursomes match, Hartenstein/Sandefur were 4 down through six holes and rallied to win their match 1 up. The father son team of Jay and Peach Reynolds who were 6 up through 11 holes, and eventually finished things off winning 3&2, after earlier in the day doing much of the same in their Four Ball match, winning 4&3.
