Alden/Luongo win the Central TX 2-man Classic

Jonathan Alden and Josh Luongo shot 5-under (67) at the rain-shortened Central TX 2-man Classic at Forest Creek this weekend to take home the team victory. Heading into the 16th hole tied with the duo of Travis Whites and Hunt Cairns, a decisive eagle 3 to a bogey 6 for Whites/Cairns provided a 3 shot cushion. A birdie at 17 for Whites/Cairns narrowed the gap to 2 strokes, which is where things ended on the 18th. Congrats Jonathan and Josh!

Paul Romero and Mark Freisen led the way for the Senior division, shooting 2-under par (70), which was also good enough to finish in 3rd place overall. There was a three-way tie for 4th place, with the teams of Dennis Sokol/Todd Lacoste, Chris McCalla/Justin Williams and Rithy Khem/Cole Esau finishing at 1-under (71).

Centex 2 man Team Classic

Forest Creek is hosting the Centex 2 man Team Classic on May 15-16th. The first round will be Best Ball and the second round will be scramble. The entry fee is $400 per team and here is the link to Register.
