Jack Cersosimo shot 65 to get to -10 for 2 days and take a three shot lead over Steve Landry. Jay Reynolds shot low round of the day with a 64 to get into a 4 day tie for third place.
Dennis Sokol shot 75 to take a 2 shot lead over Kirk Smith in the 1st Flight. Keith Phelps shot 77 to take a 4 shot lead over Finnegan Rush in the 2nd Flight.
Colin Peck and Jake Doggett shot 64 in the first round of the Firecracker at Lions. Brian Noonan is one shot back at 65 with Chris Hartenstein and Jack Cersosimo at T4 with 67.
Kirk Smith shot 77 for a 3 shot lead over Jason Long at 80 in the First Flight and Alan Bell has a 1 shot lead in the Second Flight at 85.
Jonathan Alden is back in the winner’s circle with a 2 shot victory over Jeff Shell and Keith Lundquist in this year’s Cup at Great Hills. Alden finished at 143 (1-over), while Shell and Lundquist both tied at 145 (3-over). Adam Wennerstrom and Thomas Holtzman finished 5 shots back of Alden with a total of 148 (6-over). Winn Smith finished solo 6th place with a 149 (7-over). This year’s leaderboard had 9 former Rudy’s Cup team members in the top 15. Final results have been posted.
Next up is the 2019 Firecracker, and quite possibly the last one at historic Lions Municipal. Qualifying has been completed and the filed is being set. Check back here for tournament info, and the leaderboard once the event begins, on July 4th.
Dalton Hankamer shot 65 in the final round to finish at -12 under par to win the Hill Country Amateur and set a new scoring record. Steve Paterson finished at -1 for 2nd place and Ben Constancio and Austen Fulmer shot even par to finish in a tie for 3rd place.
