Steve Paterson shot a 2 day total of -7 under part to win his Fourth Bluebonnet Cup title. Robert Evans shot the low round of the tournament on Sunday with a 66 to finish in second place at -5 under. Keith Lundquist -4, Ben Carter -3 and Brett Egge -2 round out the Top 5. Bert Sanchez won the Presidents flight and Peach Reynolds won the Senior flight.
First round tee times for the 2017 Blue Bonnet Cup are now available using the link below. 66 players will tee it up this weekend including defending champion Stephen Paterson. Scores and second round tee times will be posted as soon as possible after Saturday’s round.
Brian Noonan shot an even-par 72 at the Golf Club at Sonterra yesterday to advance to the 2017 U.S. Mid-Amateur at the Capital City Club, Atlanta, GA on October 7th-12th. Brian joins other Austin area golfers: current Men’s City Champion Jonathan Alden, Stephen Paterson and Warren Smith, who all qualified last month.
